Hydrafacial
Hydrafacial is an effective, non-surgical skin care procedure that's safe, natural, and non-invasive. The innovative technology used in this facial improves the appearance and health of your skin.
Hydrafacial treatments are similar to chemical peels, but they are painless. It does not use harsh chemicals to remove the skin, but instead focuses on exfoliating and cleansing. It rejuvenates the skin and gives it a youthful, healthy glow.
The procedure is performed by a licensed dermatologist or certified aesthetician using a wand. The wand removes dead skin cells from the skin surface, cleans them off and exfoliates them.
There are different kinds of masks (e.g., clay, cactus, cucumber) for different purposes: deep-cleansing, by penetrating the pores; healing acne scars or hyper-pigmentation; brightening, for a gradual illumination of the skin tone. Facial masks also help with anti-aging, acne, crows feet, under eye bags, sagging lids, dark circles, puffiness,[1] and more. Some masks are designed to dry or solidify on the face, almost like plaster; others just remain wet. The perceived effects of a facial mask treatment include revitalizing, healing, or refreshing; they may yield temporary benefits (depending on environmental, dietary, and other skincare factors). There is little to no objective evidence that there are any long-term benefits to the various available facial treatments.[2]
Masks are removed by either rinsing the face with water, wiping off with a damp cloth, or peeling off of the face. Duration for wearing a mask varies with the type of mask, and manufacturer's usage instructions. The time can range from a few minutes to overnight. Those with sensitive skin are advised to first test out the mask on a small portion of the skin, in order to check for any irritations. Some facial masks are not suited to frequent use. A glycolic mask should not be used more frequently than once a month to avoid the risk of burning the skin.
Masks can be found anywhere from drugstores to department stores and can vary in consistency and form. Setting masks include: clay, which is a thicker consistency, and will draw out impurities (and sometimes, natural oils, too) from the pores; a cream, which stays damp to hydrate the skin; sheet-style, in which a paper mask is dampened with liquid to tone and moisturize the skin; and lastly, a hybrid/clay and cream form that includes small beads for removing dead surface skin cells. Non-setting facial masks include warm oil and paraffin wax masks. These different forms are made to suit different skin types (e.g., oily or dry), and different skincare goals or needs (e.g., moisturizing, cleansing, exfoliating). Clay and mud masks suit oily and some "combination" skin types, while cream-based masks tend to suit dry and sensitive skin types. There are also peel-off masks which are great for when you need to remove thin layers of dead skin cells and dirt.[3]
This procedure also increases lymph flow which flushes out toxins. Hydrafacials include customized Hydrafacials that target the specific needs of each client.

Platelet-rich plasma facial
The PRP facial, a non-surgical treatment that can improve your skin texture or tone, is an effective and safe option. It can help with acne scarring, as well as wrinkles and fine line treatment. Athletes and others who want to appear younger and improve their self esteem are also attracted to this treatment.
PRP has been used to speed up the healing process and repair tissue damage in sports injuries and orthopedic surgery. It is also being studied in dermatology as a treatment for hair loss or wound healing.
The growth factors produced by platelets when injected into skin can accelerate healing and the production of collagen. Although the effects can last several months, most patients are happy with the results.
Recently, this treatment has gained a lot more attention. This treatment is a revolutionary way to revitalize the skin and make it heal quicker. A member of a medical team will take a sample of blood and use a centrifuge in order to separate the platelets from red blood cells. The platelets are then concentrated to form a platelet rich plasma.
Blood contains high levels of growth factors. These are proteins that speed up healing. They also have natural healing properties. This high concentration of growth factors will accelerate the healing process.
To stimulate new tissue growth, platelet-rich plasma can be applied to freshly resurfaced skin. These treatments can be used as a non-surgical option to more invasive surgery.
PRP facial results take time to show. Most patients will notice a significant improvement in their skin texture after the treatment. Some patients might experience slight bruising near the injection site. The majority of patients can return to their daily lives the next day.
Anti-aging Facial
Anti-aging facials help you to look young and healthy. They target common signs of ageing such as wrinkles or loss of elasticity. They can address skin problems such as blemishes or other skin issues.
There are many types of anti-aging facials. Anti-aging facials that include vitamin C or antioxidants are more effective. Facials can include chemical peels, massage, or both. Firming serums may reduce wrinkles and fine lines.
The process of aging causes your skin to lose its elasticity. You will start to notice fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, and other signs that you are getting older. An antioxidant-rich facial can improve your skin's firmness, clarity, and texture.
It is important to do your research before you consider getting an anti-aging facelift. A qualified skincare professional will help you determine which processes are best for your needs. It is possible to ask friends about local spas.
Anti-aging facials should be tailored to your skin type and age. You have two options depending on how much you are able to afford: you can opt for a weekly treatment or an at-home one.
Anti-aging facials can help you relax, reduce stress, and celebrate who you are. You will feel your skin radiant and fresh.
There are many types of anti-aging treatments available. Each will benefit your skin. The most common treatments include facials with vitamin C, botanical extracts and retinoids. A thermal energy facial can also be done. This procedure uses suction combined with abrasion to remove impurities.
Setting those factors aside, the general recommendation is for a facial every three to four weeks or once a month. That's how long your skin's life cycle is. After three or four weeks, your skin cells grow back. Facials help this process and assure your skin always glows.
A facial is one of the oldest treatments in the world for good reason – the results of this treatment can last for several weeks and enhance the tone, texture, and overall appearance of your skin. Usually, the results of the facial will last for about four to six weeks for most skin types.
We get questions from potential patients who come to our Lenexa office for an aesthetic treatments because they want to look younger. We asked Dr. Margolin about his advice to patients who might have unrealistic expectations about aesthetic treatments. Dr. Margolin said, “I tell potential patients the truth: I am an M.D., not a magician. I understand that it’s natural for people to want to look their best. Everyone wants to look their best, so they feel their best. Aesthetic treatments like BOTOX can temporarily reduce lines and wrinkles but these treatments can’t make them look like they did in college or like their favorite supermodel.”
